Am I obedient to God's Word?
How blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the law of the Lord.
Am I committed to total obedience to His Word?
Do I spend time meditating on His Word daily?
How blessed are those who observe His testimonies,
Who seek Him with all their heart.
Am I seeking God with all my heart?
They also do no unrighteousness;
They walk in His ways.
Do I justify what I want when it contradicts His Word?
Am I 100% committed to executing His will, His way?
You have ordained Your precepts,
That we should keep them diligently.
Do I "value highly" obedience to His Word?
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. - Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)
Oh that my ways may be established
To keep Your statutes!
Is it my life's goal to know God and to be obedient to His Word?
Then I shall not be ashamed
When I look upon all Your commandments.
But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope and confidence. Only the Lord knows! He searches all hearts and examines deepest motives so he can give to each person his right reward, according to his deeds—how he has lived. - Jeremiah 17:7,10 (Living Bible)
I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
Do I take time to thank God for His Word?
I shall keep Your statutes;
Do not forsake me utterly! - Psalm 119:1-8 (NASB)
Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You. - Psalm 119:11 (NASB)
When we walk with the Lord
in the light of his word,
what a glory he sheds on our way!
While we do his good will,
he abides with us still,
and with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. - John Sammis
Be Encouraged to trust in God, obey His Word and execute His will.
