Am I filled with the fullness of God?
For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. - Ephesians 3:14-19 (ESV)
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. - 2 Peter 1:3 (Amplified Bible)
At the point of salvation, God, in His divine power, has given us ALL things pertaining to life and godliness. You have all that you need to execute life in His strength.
For in Christ, there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power. - Colossians 2:9-10 (Living Bible)
Since we have the power of God in us, all that remains for the transformed follower of Christ is to love God with all your heart, soul, body, and strength and manifest His love in obedience to God and love for others.
Do I exhibit a genuine selfless love for others or a love of self in my daily conduct?
Would you be able to support your answer if you were standing before a judge that knew the intent of your heart?
Spiritual power is a mark of every Christian who submits to God's Word and Spirit. It is not reserved for some special class of Christian but for all those who discipline their minds and spirits to study the Word, understand it, and live by it. Although the outer, physical person becomes weaker with age, the inner, spiritual person should grow stronger through the Holy Spirit, who will energize, revitalize, and empower the obedient, committed Christian. - John MacArthur
Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. - Ephesians 3:20-21 (Amplified Bible)
Be Encouraged to study, understand and live by God's Word.
