What can separate me from the Love of God?

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s Love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:35,37,39 (NLT)

God’s Love is infinite because God IS Love. There is no beginning and no end; there is no sometimes, no choice, no stipulations, and no requirements with God’s Love. God is Love and therefore loves unconditionally.

Despite all that you may be experiencing in this life at this time, take a few minutes to disconnect from the issues of the day and focus your full attention on the infinite Love of the Creator of heaven and earth, your Creator, as you meditate on the verses below.

For we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his Love. - Romans 5:5b (NLT)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16 (ESV)

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is the faithful God who for a thousand generations keeps his promises and constantly loves those who love him and who obey his commands. - Deuteronomy 7:9 (Living Bible)

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his Love. God is Love, and all who live in Love lives in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our Love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. - 1 John 4:15-17 (NLT)

O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing Love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion. - 2 Chronicles 6:14 (NLT)

He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts often turn to the Lord! - Isaiah 26:3 (Living Bible)

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.
